CHICAGO (AP) — Tim Anderson homered for the first time in more than a year on a three-hit night, Mike Clevinger tossed five shutout innings in his return from the injured list and the Chicago White Sox topped the Cleveland Guardians 7-2 on Saturday night.Andrew Vaughn hit a two-run homer and Yoán Moncada had two RBIs to help the White Sox beat Cleveland for the second straight night following a six-game losing streak.Luis Robert Jr. and Eloy Jiménez drove in runs with singles in the seventh inning to help Chicago pull away.Anderson, a two-time All-Star at shortstop, hadn’t gone deep since July 15, 2022, at Minnesota. LOS ANGELES (AP) — All-Star Mookie Betts was scratched from the Los Angeles Dodgers’ lineup with right ankle soreness on Saturday night.He injured his ankle while trying to back out of an inside pitch from Alexis Diaz in the eighth inning of Friday’s loss to the Cincinnati Reds.Manager Dave Roberts said Betts is day-to-day with minor swelling and soreness.Betts has played in 99 of the team’s 102 games this season, starting 98 times. He is batting .277 with 27 home runs.He had been set to start at second base against Reds right-hander Luke Weaver. The Safe2Tell reports were down in June but suicide became the most reported issue after being down the month before, the latest data showed. "We have a teen mental health crisis right now. We don't have enough support for young people who are hurting," Weiser said. "We know social media is making it harder than ever because the algorithms on TikTok and Instagram are actually designed to give people darker thoughts -- self-harm or suicide, we heard that from a whistleblower before Congress." BOULDER, Colo. (KDVR) -- The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is looking for volunteers to join its Victim Assistance Program.  Staffed by trained volunteers, the program offers physical and emotional support to victims of crime, accidents and trauma along with resources to support them in the days ahead. Longtime Victim Advocate Lalenia Quinlan Aweida has been volunteering for nearly seven years. “I think it’s built my muscles for compassion,” Quinlan Aweida said. “What keeps me coming back to this is even though it’s hard work, it’s really good work and you know that you are helping someone right in that moment.
