A South Florida girl received a special surprise from a local morning radio show for her bravery.Hollywood-based radio station 99 JAMZ on Friday rewarded 6-year-old Ah’Lyric and her mother for the child’s brave actions back in July when a man attempted to kidnap her.Ah’Lyric fought back — even biting the man who grabbed her by the arm near her apartment complex in Miami.Her quick thinking forced the man to let go of her and run away. NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. — An investigation is underway in North Chicago after a woman was found dead in a car on Friday morning, according to police.North Chicago police say officers were called to the scene in the 1000 block of Victoria Avenue after residents in the area reportedly heard several gunshots fired just before 6 a.m. Police: 2 teens killed in Palatine shooting were victims of targeted, gang-related incident After arriving on the scene, officers found the woman dead inside of a parked car in her driveway near 11th and Victoria Avenue. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Court documents obtained by KXAN on Friday provided more details, including the name of the man who's body was found at an east Austin park on Sept. 11.The man was identified as Salvador Sanchez, 30, according to an affidavit.Shortly after 9:30 p.m., Austin Police officers responded to a call from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office after a body was found with gunshot wounds at John Trevino Jr., Metro Park, located at 9501 FM 969, according to police.When police arrived on the scene, they found Sanchez, who's body was found in a thick brush of bamboo decomposing, according to the affidavit.
