LOUIS – Residents in the Riverbend City Apartments are once again dealing with raw, seeping sewage running through units and halls of the complex.From broken down posts to gates that are completely inoperable, the problems here at Riverbend City Apartments have only gotten worse over the last month. Once you step inside, the problems escalate.“I got up, went to the restroom, and I see my tub filling up, and I said, ‘Wow, it’s gonna happen again,” said resident Moto Harris.Floors flooded with raw, stinky sewage. Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were in pursuit of a driver in a vehicle stolen from the L.A. Department of Water and Power, that quickly turned into an hours-long standoff situation Wednesday night. The pursuit was initiated at around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Pacoima, with authorities saying the suspect was also wanted for assault with a deadly weapon. The man led authorities in a short chase on the southbound 5 Freeway, where he tried to ram officers and other drivers on the roadway, before exiting and pulling into a parking lot off Colorado Boulevard. Officers pulled into the lot behind the suspect, who then turned his vehicle toward them and sped forward, attempting to ram them a second time. A daycare operator was arrested Wednesday on allegations he sexually assaulted multiple underage victims in Ontario.The suspect was identified as Virgil Delgado, 52, who also goes by the name Sergio, according to the Ontario Police Department.The suspect’s family has operated Delgado Family Daycare out of a residence for 19 years. Delgado was previously a foster parent as well, police said.On March 6, police received reports of possible sexual abuse that involved a victim who was being cared for by Delgado.Investigators later tracked down additional victims from surrounding cities and states who were also allegedly victimized by Delgado.On Aug. 4, Delgado was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center on numerous related felony charges. MOUNTAIN VIEW – Police on Tuesday arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of setting a Dumpster on fire at Cuesta Park in Mountain View.The blaze was reported around 9:30 p.m., the Mountain View Police Department said in a news release. (KRON) -- Authorities are investigating a hate crime that involved vandalism outside a dive bar in unincorporated Fairfield, the Solano County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) said Wednesday in a Facebook post. Swastikas and racial slurs were found on the walls of Thompson's Corner Saloon on Cordelia Road. Surveillance video obtained by SCSO shows a person of interest in connection to this hate crime. (KRON) -- Senator Dianne Feinstein was hospitalized after falling in her San Francisco home on Tuesday. “Senator Feinstein briefly went to the hospital yesterday afternoon as a precaution after a minor fall in her home. All of her scans were clear and she returned home," according to a spokesperson for Sen. Feinstein. Feinstein has been struggling with health issues over the last year. She was absent from the Senate for about three months while dealing with shingles, Ramsay Hunt syndrome and encephalitis. Sen.
