I borrow from his spirits. He is in very good hands.”Nagbe said the trauma remains evident. She said her 16-year-old son is “able to communicate mostly when he feels like it, but mostly he just sits there and stares and the buckets of tears just rolls down his eyes.”“You can see that he is just replaying the situation over and over again, and that just doesn’t stop my tears either,” she said.Kansas City police said the shooter, 84-year-ol...Historic San Francisco hotel atop famed hill is officially foreclosed and bought

Davis’ early success

MIAMI — Gabe Kapler likes to see his players outside of their typical environment, the baseball world, which can too often feel like its own bubble. So one day this spring, the Giants manager invited one of the club’s relatively new additions, J.D. Davis, out for a meal. They got to talking, and the conversation turned to what Davis wanted to achieve in 2023.“Let’s just say he had really lofty goals. Coming off the sort of part-time player he was for us last year and the part-time player he was with the Mets, it was hard to visualize some of the goals that he had,” Kapler said. “Because how was he going to be that regular of a player for us?”Almost three weeks into the season, Davis hasn’t only forced his way into regular playing time, those goals don’t look so lofty anymore.Entering Tuesday’s game against the Marlins, Davis leads the team in home runs (4) and RBIs (13). Eighteen of his 35 balls in play have left the bat at 95 mph or h...Pedestrian fatally hit while on Pittsburg rural road identified
