Meet Interdisciplinary Archivist Jenny Yurshanksy For interdisciplinary artist Jenny Yurshanksy, home has never really been a place—at least not in the strict geographical sense. She was born during her parents’ immigration, in the middle of a fraught journey between continents, and that foundational statelessness has informed her sense of self and relationship to the world ever since. In her research-infused art practice, she deftly unravels personal, geopolitical, and often botanical histories—finding ready metaphors in nature for the malleable structure of societies and of families, and undeniable power in direct engagement and individual storytelling. Based in true stories and science-minded inquiry, given form through meaningful objects from embroidered textiles to large-scale sculptural installations, oral and photographic archives, books and texts, photographs, and a variety of further materials as best suited to the matters under examination. Her current project, Rinsing the Bones, invites audience participation in creating...

Doeren said Ashford will play again, but the timetable is uncertain.“He’s probably going to need at least a week probably to shake that one off,” Doeren said. “I would equate that to a whiplash-type thing, so he’s pretty sore. We’ve just got to get the soreness out and get him back to who he was. He’ll play again and all that, we just don’t know how long it’s going to take.”Ashford was hit late by a UConn player at the end of a kickoff return with 1:54 left in the third quarter. (AP) — Deion Sanders’ slogan, “We Comin’,” suggests he expects immediate success at Colorado.Nebraska’s Matt Rhule is confident enough to adopt the same motto — except with the caveat that it might take his program a while to arrive. Two of college football’s high-profile building projects are underway, and the coaches are going about it in two very different ways.Is one better than the other? The Cornhuskers and Buffaloes — old rivals from their days in the Big Eight and Big 12 conferences — meet in Boulder, Colorado, on Saturday for an early measuring-stick game that suddenly surged to the top of the week’s must-see lists. That’s because the Buffs, winners of one game in 2022, have become the talk of the country following their 45-42 win at nationally ranked TCU, last season’s College Football Playoff runner-up.It wasn’t just that the Buffs won as three-touchdown underdogs.
